Welcome to Douglas Library

Our goal is to provide a cultural center for all residents of the town of North Canaan and surrounding communities. The library is committed to providing equal access to information, ideas and knowledge through books and other resources. The library believes in and supports intellectual freedom for all.

The Douglas Library is now open regular hours EXCLUDING Friday evenings for the time being. If you would prefer to pick up library items curbside, we will be happy to oblige.  Let us know by phone or email what you wish to borrow.   We look forward to seeing you again!
